Senior E-Commerce & Site Trading Executive

Job Summary

As Senior E-Commerce & Site Trading Executive at VIEVE, you’ll take significant ownership of .com trading execution and site performance — acting as the engine behind our digital trading calendar, on-site merchandising, and product launch delivery. This is a senior individual contributor role that sits at the heart of the e-commerce team: highly hands-on, commercially sharp, and trusted to operate with a high degree of independence.

Working closely with the E-Commerce & Site Trading Manager, you’ll own the delivery and day-to-day execution of what they set the strategy for — ensuring campaigns go live flawlessly, site performance is consistently analysed and acted on, and every product launch is optimised for commercial success. You’ll be the primary liaison with our SEO and development agency partners, producing the reporting and analysis that drives trading decisions, and executing A/B tests that make a measurable difference to conversion.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

You will be responsible for leading and owning:

Trading & commercial ownership:

  • Assist in driving the delivery of weekly, monthly, and seasonal .com revenue targets, acting as a key commercial lead alongside the Manager
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the digital trading calendar, including campaign launches, offers, product drops, and promotional activity, ensuring commercial and brand goals are met
  • Act as the on-site delivery lead for cross-functional campaigns — owning .com execution and ensuring campaign briefs from Marketing, NPD, and Operations are flawlessly realised on-site, on time
  • Lead regular performance analysis on products, categories, and campaigns — proactively identifying trading opportunities and risks, and bringing forward-looking recommendations to the Manager
  • Hold accountability for three core on-site funnel metrics — % of sessions that reach a product page, % of product page sessions that add to basket, and % of baskets that convert to order. 

Site merchandising & product launches:

  • Lead and own on-site merchandising strategy across homepage, collection pages, PDPs, and product listings, driving best-in-class product discovery and sell-through
  • Own end-to-end product launch execution online — from setup, placement, and taxonomy to creative alignment — ensuring every launch is optimised for commercial performance
  • Partner with Creative and Brand Marketing to align product storytelling with site UX, ensuring assets are optimised for engagement and commercial impact

Optimisation & customer experience

  • Drive continuous improvements to CVR and AOV — identifying friction points across the funnel and owning the delivery of UX and merchandising solutions
  • Own site navigation, search, filtering, and product ranking to reflect commercial priorities and maximise product discovery
  • Own execution and analysis of A/B tests — building well-reasoned hypotheses, managing test delivery, and presenting results with clear recommendations to improve customer journeys and conversion

Website administration

  • Own and maintain product feeds, tags, attributes, and site content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and commercial alignment at all times
  • Conduct consistent reviews of the live site, focusing on the overall customer experience, to meet VIEVE’s standards; flagging and resolving issues immediately
  • Assist with the Manager on day-to-day contact for the development agency — coordinating and briefing technical fixes, site enhancements, and integrations against priorities set by the Manager
  • Own content updates across the site with an SEO-first mindset, ensuring new pages, collections, and campaign content are optimised for discoverability and performance

SEO maintenance

  • Assist the Manager on day-to-day liaison with the SEO agency — coordinating task delivery, communicating business priorities, and ensuring implementation is executed accurately and on time
  • Drive alignment between SEO strategy and business campaigns, launches, and site priorities — proactively identifying and communicating opportunities to grow organic visibility
  • Own organic search performance monitoring for key products, categories, and pages — analysing trends, flagging risks, and translating insights into actionable next steps

Analytics & reporting

  • Produce and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly .com performance reports via GA4, Shopify analytics, and GSC — providing the Manager with accurate, well-structured data and clear commercial context
  • Produce insightful trading reports on KPIs, customer behaviour, and site performance — going beyond data to provide analysis, interpretation, and strategic recommendation
  • Present performance summaries and post-campaign reviews to the wider business, framing results with clear narrative and forward-looking actions

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an e-commerce, digital trading, or site merchandising role within a DTC, beauty, or fashion brand.
  • Proven track record of owning trading execution and delivering measurable improvements to revenue, CVR, or AOV in a fast-paced D2C environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect site performance data to trading decisions and business outcomes.
  • Confident hands-on experience with Shopify (or similar platform), including product management, collections, and third-party app integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GA4, Shopify analytics, and Google Search Console; able to translate data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Experience owning execution and analysis of A/B tests, with the ability to build hypotheses, interpret results, and present clear recommendations to drive conversion improvements.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO principles, site architecture, and collection taxonomy, with experience coordinating closely with an SEO agency on task delivery and implementation.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with experience coordinating external partners (development agency, tech platforms) and working effectively across Brand, Marketing, NPD, and Ops teams.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and hold yourself and others to a high standard of execution and accuracy.
  • Desirable: previous experience in luxury, prestige, or creator-led beauty brands.
